"After high school, I had no clear direction for my future. I tried different jobs but found myself stuck, unsure if I could ever build something meaningful. That all changed when I joined Legend Pipeline at 24. This industry showed me what’s possible with hard work and dedication. In just four years, I went from a laborer to a lead pipe-layer, and now I’m training to become a foreman. The opportunities here are endless if you’re willing to put in the effort. That’s why I believe so strongly in Legend Pipeline Foundation. Young people need to see that underground construction isn’t just a job—it’s a career that can change your life. It’s about building a future you never thought possible."

“I went to community college because I thought it was the only way to build a future, even though school was never something I enjoyed. After three years of classes and no real sense of direction, I felt like I was just wasting time. That’s when my brother, Jonny Sandoval (founder of Legend Pipeline and Legend Pipeline Foundation), encouraged me to explore underground construction. He showed me that with resilience and commitment, I could create a successful career outside of the traditional path. At 21, I took his advice and started working in underground construction. Within four years, I achieved my goal of becoming an operator, and my life has completely changed. Now, I’m able to support my family, and I’ve even bought my first home—something I didn’t think would be possible so soon.
Legend Pipeline Foundation is all about opening up this same opportunity to others. There are so many young people out there who don’t know there’s a different way forward. This foundation proves that with the right tools and effort, you can build a career that’s not only stable but rewarding in every way."

"At 20, I didn’t know where my life was headed. I thought I wanted to be a firefighter, but after hitting roadblocks, I felt lost and unsure of my future. When I started as a laborer in underground construction, I didn’t realize how much this industry could offer. Now, as a Pipelayer 3, I’ve gained skills, operate equipment when needed, and am working toward becoming a foreman. More than that, I’ve found purpose and a career that allows me to grow every day. I fully support the Legend Pipeline Foundation because I wish something like this existed when I was starting out. It would have shown me sooner that there’s a future here for anyone willing to put in the effort. This industry doesn’t just offer jobs—it offers a chance to build a life you can be proud of."
